Have you ever wanted to shop for modern furniture and home décor? Coming this fall, The Fountains at Farah will be opening their doors to one of my favorite stores, West Elm. West Elm is an upscale retail store that features contemporary furniture designs and other houseware items. They are a subsidiary of Williams-Sonoma, Inc.
There are currently three other stores located in Texas and this one will be their fourth. The other three are located in Austin, Houston and Dallas. West Elm provides great design with a “soft spot” for natural materials and it’s multi-functional items.
The majority of people in this area have had to settle for very traditional furniture pieces. However, with the opening of West Elm, they will offer many new contemporary choices and styles. You can’t help but fall in love with their up-to-date styles and trends that most people are looking for in El Paso.
Now let’s cross our fingers and hope that we get more of an influx of modern style homes. I’ve already begun seeing a trend towards that movement. I have seen many builders adding this trend as a readily available style to their portfolio, and I see this continuing into the future.
If you are the type of person who’s looking for something different, don’t be a stranger this fall when West Elm opens. If you can’t wait, you can ALWAYS shop online. I, for one, will be using my West Elm credit card again after a short hiatus
